A crowd came out for the first Red Bull EmSee battle, which took place at the Masquerade in Atlanta. The evening, which featured 10 emcees competing for the title, was hosted by D.R.E.S. tha Beatnik and the contest was judged by Adeem, 9th Wonder and Talib Kweli. Manchild took the title and will go on to record with 9th Wonder at the Red Bull studios at the company headquarters in Santa Monica, Calif.
